Active Care Versus Supportive Care

Worker’s compensation tip of day – There are two types of medical care in a WC case — active care and supportive care. Active care is to improve the patient’s condition. Supportive care is to maintain the patient’s condition. Usually, more serious injuries are provided a supportive care award.
