We normally talk about strictly legal issues and subjects in our blog here at the Fendon Law Firm website. However, today I wanted to share with the public why I love being a workers’ compensation and Social Security disability lawyer here in Arizona.

At the Fendon Law Firm, when an extraordinary event occurs such as a favorable decision on a case, we take time out of our days to call the client and share the fantastic news. We care so much about our clients that it really makes our job worthwhile to get to share good news with them. Our clients are like our family members.

This week, I received a favorable decision that was extra special to me. The client had a horrific accident. She had life altering changes from this injury. She will never be the same as she was before the accident.

Like most insurance companies here in Arizona, the carrier in charge of handling her workers’ comp claim was especially brutal in the treatment of this great person. We made a fair offer to settle the case prior to going to court, and they gave us a lowball response. My client was not trying to profit from this accident. She just wanted to be fairly compensated.

The case went through full hearings and we obtained a completely favorable decision. The best part of my week was calling the client and informing her of the good news. She cried tears of joy when I shared the news over the phone (This of course, brought tears to my eyes). There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone take on a behemoth insurance carrier and obtaining a favorable result for her.
